Cigar Store Indian Madien

This piece was suffering from the paint flaking off.  You couldn't touch it without the paint coming off.  This was happening because the base coat of paint had lost its adhesion to the top coat .  So before anything could be done that problem had to be resolved .  So I consolidated the flaking paint by gluing it back down . There was so much paint loss in places my client wanted me to in paint selectively; still keep the old look but when they had purchased it 20 years ago it didn't have all that paint loss, and they wanted it brought back the way they remembered it .  So I in painted the paint loss selectively and now you can touch the indian and no paint comes off .  My client was very impressed with the out come .
